1st Strike Scenarios announcement

Hello fellow Battlefront players!

I wanted to take a moment and say thank you for supporting the events that 1^st Strike has run at the field over the last several years.  I certainly hope you guys have enjoyed them as much as we have enjoyed putting them together.  We’ve put a lot of time and effort into to attempting to bring unique games to the field and we’ve sincerely appreciated all of the positive feedback that we’ve received over the years.

This month marks a rather important change for 1^st Strike Scenarios.  In the next few weeks I will be filing paperwork to start a new, official scenario company that will begin producing games next year.  While the name of the company will change, from a player’s standpoint, initially little will appear different with regards to any events that we put together for Battlefront.  They’ll still have a 1^st Strike flavor to them that many of you are familiar with and we plan to continue to run and improve the annual Day of Days event.  Long term, I’d like to be able to invest more heavily in the new company than we could realistically do so as 1^st Strike, thereby improving the quality of the events and hopefully the enjoyment of the players.

I’m in the process of planning some pretty cool things for next year, the details of which will be released in the upcoming months as things progress.  A new website detailing the company and future games is also currently in the works.  When it has been published, I’ll make the announcement here.

Again, thanks for all of your support over the years and we hope to see you in the trenches in 2012!
