Kudos to the chef, its been a while since I've had hog roasted on a spit over hot coals.  That is good food.  The rain only lasted about an hour (through 5 bomb centerflag and lunch) so if you stayed home for that reason you should cause some sort of self inflicted wound right about now.  The games were great.  I would like to try 5 bomb centerflag again, when I actually get to hear the briefing (my own fault) and with better weather.  Winning a membership at the raffle was icing on the cake.  Great day at the front.

5 bomb center flag was odd. Because of having to go get the flag and then the bombs, the game seemed to drag on.

I missed it.  Slept in  (read also mega hungover) till 9:30, checked the radar, saw the rain, and decided against it.  Figured it'd take about an hour to gather my gear, 1-2 to get there, and that's when the rain would've been coming.  Sounds like it was a great time too!  I love pig roasts!!!  Nex time I guess.  Sad, but...I did stay dry, did get to sleep in/sleep it off, and we all know there's always the next game

Real men don't complain about the hangover, they just show up and pwn.

You missed a great day indeed, the rain showed up for lunch, where we all stayed dry under the roof of the snack shack. 

 5 Bomb Centerflag did get rained out near the end, but honestly I enjoyed the rain, and points to the SavePhace mask, although it did have some condensation while hiding in the rainy bushes it cleared up AS SOON as I started walking around.  In humid conditions the SavePHace outperforms all my other masks that have fan kits.

PS - We were waiting for you to take us out for a beer after the game as promised in your previous taunts, but I guess you were afraid of being hungover and sleeping in for church.

Oh, and if you gather your gear up the night before you will be less likely to puss out the day of.

I enjoyed the rain as well, except I couldn't see a damn thing with the Spectra thermal lense I had leaking like it did between the double pane.  Once that adhesive between the two lenses goes bad you might as well tear the inside lense off (which I did after the game).  That was almost enough to make me swear off thermal lenses.  Anyone else have the same problems or know of a fix?  Would silicone installed between the two lenses preemptively solve the problem?

I was shocked when my mask fogged. I played the BOB game last year and didn't fog once. Its just a cheap walmart mask too.

@ Hades - congrats on scoring that membership man (I was the guy standing next to you that won one at D-day)... after a great day of play that is icing on the cake!

@ Ivan - Good to hear about how well that Save Phace worked for you in the humidity/rain.  I had been thinking about picking one up.  One thing, how is changing the lense on it?
