Not sure how I feel about this whole .50 caliber movement that MIL Sig is trying to get moving. I don't see it replacing .68, but it might be an  interesting addition. Is there any plans to carry a .50 caliber field paint at Battlefront?

Kingman is coming out with .50 cal spyders. Don't know if their any good. I know their is a discussion about bring your own paint that is not not .68 cal and letting the staff and refs know about it. I would not have a problem playing with someone if they buy a good quilaty paint and it's yellow the same color as field paint.
On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.

I think if it fails it'll be because no one wants to buy into it to the point where the manufacture of related items would be justified.

Performance wise, I can't imagine it being significantly better or worse. The big difference would be if it was more affordable or not.

I read that 50 cal ballistics are horrible compared to 68 cal.  Less mass = shorter range and easier for the wind to take off course.

M Carter brown had a good review on the subject and well pretty much debunked all the myths for 50 cal.
