15 minutes? Really? You guys are optimistic. Given the fact that the Germans have the high ground, will be operating a battery of mortars all while the US is taking enfilading fire with limited cover... if the Germans can't hold them on the beach for more than 15 minutes, they're in real trouble.

okay kids lets think about this, once the gates drop there will be probly 5-8 guys on the hill moving towards the wall, once there the start destroying kids maybe one to three of us will get hit, but then they will run back to spawn and be right back up there {probly up to 8-12 mins} then more and more players will join the players at the wall and germans will be picked off. so maybe it will take 15 to 25 mins but it will happen

I assume that at the start of the game all the Germans will be lined up starting at the end of the Bank wall all the way down towards town, to the Atlantic wall -- all firing when the gates drop. I don't see many of us making it very far until the Germans start getting hit & have to respawn. It'll definitely happen within the hour... but we'll be all yellow (like the Coldplay song -- "You know how I know you're gay?")

5-8 guys to take Pointe Du Hoc? I think you overestimate the American's skill level. Especially since Pointe Du Hoc is the best place to put fire on Omaha's flag tower. I would expect that place to be crawling with Krauts. |

You're right, it's a good thing BF doesn't allow players to bring extra boxes of paint on the field ![]() |

To make things more realistic, all of the Americans are going to be required to slug back a glass of warm, expired milk. This will simulate the motion sickness that the soldiers were feeling as they left the landing craft in 1944.

I think the point is that warm, expired milk would make you sick... regardless of your intolerance
And BTW: I think that's a horrible idea TGE. Although, I will need something to wash the paint out of my mouth from all the gog shots I'm sure to take. |

Here at 1st Strike Scenarios, we strive to bring you the most realistic combat experience you can find. If that means forcing a little expired milk down the gullets of our customers to simulate seasickness, so be it.
Next you guys will be telling me you're not interested in using actual mines for the minefields. |
