I had to replace the cup seal on my recently acquired Bob Long Protege.  It calls out for Dow 55 grease on the seal.  Anyone know where I can get this without ordering it?

I can get Dow 33, it seems the difference is Dow 33 doesn't swell the seals, Dow 55 does.  Does this really matter?

I don't have first hand experience w/ a BL, but... if it calls for 33 use 33, if it calls for 55 use 55.  There's a reason they want that seal to swell.  If you haven't already, check to see if Compulsive has it.

i have owned BL guns  for a long time.....use only tri flow on the bolt and 55 on the ram .. I have some 55 and will bring it to W@W ,...if you can wait.
And no teflon tape anywhere...it has tendecies to break loose and clog the noid.

I will also bring the triflow

Perfect.  That's what I was looking for, someone who knew something about them!  Some of the forums I looked at were pretty much saying just grease it with anything and be done with it.  I figured they have to be calling out 55 for a reason!

Thanks for the help guys!
