Will there be caps on the amount of players per team for pre reg?

If it gets to be ridiculously off balance, then yes.  A cap will be put in place until teams are balanced back out.  So the lesson is, if you have a team that you REALLY want to play for, preregister early because I can't promise you that it will be available all the time.  If your team gets locked out, then you can always take the risk of showing up on game day and seeing if you can get in, but you're going to pay more at the gate.  I'll probably touch base with Dave towards the middle of next week and see where we stand as far as preregistered players is concerned.  At that point we may opt to close down a side for a little bit if it's too lopsided.

i would think you would need to close down the pre-reg permanetly for the team that gets too high because if you just close it down for a bit then people could just wait till you open it back up.

Well, they're welcome to wait and see if a side opens back up, but if they do that and it never evens out during the prereg, then they're stuck paying the higher field fee on game day and most likely getting put on the team that they didn't want to be on.  (Not that it really will matter in the end because both sides should be fun.)

Armor is welcome, but we need to make sure that it balances on both sides, or at the very least, the side with less armor has more rocket launchers to deal with the situation.  So far the Allies MAY have a tank on the field for game day.  Nobody else has informed me of their intentions to bring armor.

I honestly don't know if Battlefront has an age restriction.  I would imagine that as long as you're not a complete idiot, and a waiver is signed by a parent or guardian if the player is under 18, then most ages would be fine within reason.  I've seen some kids out there that couldn't have been more than 10 or 11.  But who knows... maybe they were 30 year olds with a pituitary disorder.

If they did close one side of pre-reg down they wouldn't open it back up until the other sides pre-reg got closer to even... so no real worry of teams being too lopsided.

Not sure when they're doing the cutoff.  I think I saw someplace that it was the Wednesday before the game... but I'm not 100% on that.

Pre reg will be availoable thru Wednesday June 3rd. That still gives us time to order additional paintballs if we need to.

Does anyone know what the pre-reg counts are for the Americans and Germans so far?

Registered yesterday...chalk up 3 more for the American side ;)

And we're also planning to buy paint on the day-of, since there's really no discount or benefit from doing it online, like there is for admission.
