This November game....which is usually just the Turkey Shoot...(get the ammo box off the field and claim a turkey) will be a bit more complicated this year.

In addition to the Hatfields and McCoys the "Revenoors" (IRS Agents) will also be on the field. The battle will basically be for control of the stills (there are always illegal stills making moonshine in those hills) that each family must control to win the game, and IRS agents are trying to destroy so they can win the game. More details on this game, prizes, etc. ....should be a riot!!

The feud ended when a Hatfield married a McCoy....haven't figured out how to plug that into the game yet....but it will probably somehow include Sparty and Booty...with some Chap conducting the ceremony. PRE REG is NOT required and normal $15.00 field fee applies.

Wasn't the turkey shoot where we 1st tried the Mexican game? I remember the mexican game well and it was garbage.... I led a group of about 15 people with Flava Dave through the woods not knowing where we were going. All unarmed except for two 12 year old kids with horrible walmart markers...Not a fan of that.

Picked up on the CHAP thing pretty quickly!!!

By the way, camo's are ok but not in the spirit of the event. Red flannel shirts for Hatfields....Blue flannel shirts for McCoys....Blaze Orange for Revenoors. The ammo boxes that win you a turkey will also contain certificates for prizes but you need to open the box to get at it.....and you gotta know what might happen when the box opens!!

So will this game just be the turkey shoot with different missions basically? Are we playing for individual turkeys, or  if a certain teams holds so much by the end of the game that team wins a special prize?

Just ordered 150 corn-cob pipes for the clans....and two, four foot long mohair beards. One for each clan leader. One is red and the other is black and gray.

I'm thinking everyone will score a corn-cob pipe. 150 is a big crowd for late November, but a game patch is in the works too. Something along the lines of L'il Abner holding a bottle of Jack Daniels and moving fast to escape Daisy Mae.....

This game sounds like fun and has alot of potential. I am acutally a decendent of a Hatfield on my father's side of the family. I can't remember her name at this moment, but she is my great great great grandmother ( Hatfield) that married into our family tree, Lawrences. I need to find out more details about it for the game. Maybe a history lesson for those youngin's that don't know about the famous fued! However, I may be flat broke after 2 scenarios in October to participate! Nah, that won't stop me if I really want to go!
