Previous to my decision of making Battlefront my paintball field of choice for scenario play, I used to frequent Pinnacle Woods Paintball in Chardon Ohio. Before their mishap with landlords and loggers destroying half of their field, they would host a very decent scenario game every year known as World Conquest, very similar to Battlefront's World at War scenario.
Of course there would be generals and so forth one thing I did enjoy thoroughly was the inclusion of spies. I don't know if Battlefront has ever used this in a scenario before, most likely have, but I remember that spies really were a game changer in the scenario. Each faction would pick a player to be the spy for their team, once picked the player received arm bands in every color of the opposing team and ,most likely, a radio in direct contact with the general. In my experience the spies made the game far more interesting. As much as you may trust the group of players you have spawned with, there was constantly the looming suspicion that the spy was among you, detailing your plans and sending them back to their general, or waiting for the right moment to shoot you in the back just as you have collected supply crates for points or whatnot. The spy was also able to operate outside of the field as well. As you were sitting at your table, discussion the next big strategy with your team members, an innocent looking player with the same colored armband would happen to appear and listen in, asking you about what the next big plan is for the faction. Spies would go behind enemy lines and steal essential items required for advancing in score. They would gain the trust of the opposing team's commanders eventually allowing him to uncover the identity of the general, and then assassinating him just when he wouldn't expect it gaining large amounts of bonus points for their faction. Opinions? I really would like First Strike's thoughts on the matter, unless of course they have already attempted this at Battlefront and found it to be inefficient. Any feedback is appreciated because I would really love to see spies included in Battlefront's scenario games. |

Spies are a good part of the "Day of Days" game. It is up to the general to utilize them. If you visit our website and look at the game details there is a section on different player roles and rules that go along with them.
http://1st-strike-paintball.com/Scenario%20Productions/DoDroles.html I think for every scenario, producers let players know if spies will be in play for that game. |
