Hey all,
Not sure if this is the right place, but it's as close as I could find.
I'm slowly transitioning my mountains of gear from tourny/speedball to more woods/scenario appropriate. The options available to woodsballers have changed a bit since I was last a woodsballer about 10 years ago, so I'm hoping for some educated insights.
First, I just picked up an FLC MOLLE rig with a bunch of pouches and whatnot. It does not, however, have paintball-specific pouches. From what I can see, there are at least 3 companies making MOLLE pouches (BT, SP, and Valken) and I'd like to hear some hands-on feedback about each company's products. Thanks in advance!
John

Valken's V-Tac Molle pouches are really nice. I have a ACU MOLLE vest from them with 2 Multi Pouches, Two 2 pod (front), 2 Horizontal 45 Cu tank holders, and a 3 + 4 Pod holder for my back. The vest its' self is very durable and hasn't had any problems with so far. Its Heavy Duty and is very "breathable". The only problems i had with them is that they sent me the wrong camo radio pouch and one of the harnesses they sent me wasn't stiched properly and the velcro came off. But the vest and it all its' pouches are heavy duty and are well priced. And the majority of the pouches offered are waterproof to make it an even better deal. Also RAP4 (they make some good vests) recently started a new line of MOLLE Pouches i think so you may want to look around there too. The guns may suck but i haven't had many issues with the vests.

Full Clip is another company that makes paintball specific molle items. I have no first hand experience w/ them but have seen a lot of good comments.
Special Ops Paintball does molle items too. Though they just finished a cross country move to Syracuse & have yet to get a full time sewing staff up & running. According to their online store they do have pod pouches in stock depending on what color/pattern you want. I do have first hand experience w/ their items and have been pleased. I've been using a custom vest of theirs and molle pouches for the past 3+ years without issue. Outside of that, some real world molle pouches work for pods. 100 rounders work in most 3x m4 pouches, 50 rounders fit in some grenade pouches. Nothing I'm aware of works well for holding 140 rounders though, possibly dump or saw pouches. Could be worth hitting your local army/navy w/ some empty pods & trying to find something for cheap. |

I also use Special ops vests. I have put mine through hell and back for a few years now and aside from the fact that I haven't cleaned it as well as I should, its no worse for the wear. I highly recommend their vests.

Thanks very much for the feedback, guys. 140-rounders are what I need. The pack I pcked up has a pretty comprehensive setup of everything else. In fact, I may end up adding some to my BST thread when it comes in in hopes of getting what works for my setup.
Does BF/Bonusball carry any MOLLE components? Would be convenient and I'd rather support my field than one of the megacompanies.

Hey JF'
You might want to give RAP4.com a look, When I thought I was going to be able to play last year due to my accident, I upgraded through them. They have a ton of cammo pattern options, and alot of vest rig options. |

I'm liking the Valken stuff the more I look. I have had mixed experiences with RAP4. Some of their stuff falls apart rather easily. I have two of their vests, one woodland and the other black. The black one is shredding all over.

I got a Blackjack vest from E-Bay. I added a BT molle tank pouch that I bought at bonusball.
