Just an FYI guys.  There will be prizes at this event.  However, you will need to stick around to the end of the game to get them.  Some of the prizes will be a straight up raffle... but I'm also kicking around the idea of an Easter Egg Hunt for some prize tickets.

Battlefront has generously donated some field memberships, cases of paint and a few other goodies.  1st Strike will be covering the event charge for the September BoB game for a few lucky folks and we've worked out something in conjunction with Invictus Paintball so that we can give away a couple of $50 gift certificates to the trailer.  Be nice to walk away with a little bit of free gear at the end of the day, huh?

good deal! would of been nice at socom my chances would have been better for a raffle anyway...lol

You could just give away 1 ticket at the door to each person and then you could sell them too to make sure everyone gets at least one.

Well, that was the original plan... but with only 80 people there, it wasn't exactly in the budget.

Game is Zero Wing. It was a Japanese game poorly translated to English. the "are belong to us" is when he says "All your base are belong to us."

There are also quite a few remixes on youtube with billboards, and streetsigns/other comical things regarding it.

FYI guys, there will be 4 prize cards hidden on the field.  They will have a number on them: 1,2,3,4.  You find prize card #1, you get first pick of the prize.  Find prize card #2, you get the second pick, etc.  Prize cards will not be in obvious locations.  You'll probably find them by diving into a ditch for cover, rolling over and saying "well would you look at that?"  The rest of the prizes will be raffled off.  You must be present at the giveaway to claim your prize.  If you have prize card 1 and don't respond within a few seconds of being called, we will move on.  You can still get a prize if there are any left by the time you wake up, but I won't promise anything.

By the way, a hint to prize card #1's location can be found in the longest thread for D-Day...
