"Rise" will follow the older 3 part style of Battlefront.
There will be a break between parts 1&2 and a short set-up time between 2&3, and by set up i mean a brief cease of hostilities to allow teams to set up defense and prepare for the attack.
 
Part 1.
"Cobra Strikes"
Forces of GI JOE are deep in the wilderness testing out their newest toy the "Broadcast Energy Transmitter"(BET) when cobra attacks. The JOES must escort the BET back to JOE HQ.
 
Part 2.
"Take Take Take".
The JOES now have the BET safely secured in Fortress JOE, well guarded from Cobra...or so they think. Zartan and the Dreadnaughts lurk in the shadows as Cobra launches a massive campaign to capture the BET. Cobra will have to Disable the JOE defenses (Ex-Wife) if they expect to get close to the BET and wrest control from JOE.
 
Part 3.
"Yo Joe...Head for the BET!"
Cobra and their Cobra-La masters have stolen the BET and intend to use its power to hatch orbiting spores that will wipe out humanity. JOE will have to fight though unthinkable traps and defenses of Cobra-La if they expect to save the world and re-take the BET.....time is running out...

I'm pretty sure a quick call to the local cable company is all it would take for Cobra to get BET on their TVs as well and thus avoid the whole conflict.  Then we could all watch Brothers to Brutha together.

Sounds like both sides get to deal with doing heavy assaults on heavy defense.  This should be fun no matter what side I end up on.  The choice is so hard though.

Here is a format question.

What will be the policy on rockets for this game?  Red Dawn had everyone using there own.  Will it be the same or field rockets only?  I would really hate getting rocket spammed all day.

Well i seriously doubt there will be any tanks. I would really like to not have rockets at all. A straight up paintball game. But if somebody really insists on having a launcher then we will limit the rockets.

That will take a load of my mind, not having to worry about enemy armor.  As well as not getting zooked every respawn.  Right before we took that lunch break for Red Dawn there were rockets flying everywhere at the tube field.

Well Devy plays the BET and I got nothing from lightning force and thats all the tanks. I would really not like any tanks. There is nothing written in this game for armor.
