Ah, sometimes I have to throw them a bone, if I keep leading perfect games no one will play against us!  Ha, yeah right, I just plain messed that one up!

Now for a subject change off my incompetence...  I felt the need to point out one of the unsung heroes in this game.  Ger really made one heck of a difference in the last mission.  At one point I couldn't get nearly anyone except my team and the regulars who are hardcore players across the creek in the vicinity of the tank.  I knew we had to take that bridge because 90% of the players won't cross the water without it.  As much as I would like to say the 10% of us could overrun a fortified position with quality players defending it, I don't believe that.  Anyway, back to Ger, I snuck across the stream alone at one point and popped up and hosed 3 or so guys before getting lit up like a Christmas tree.  On my way back I saw Ger, all alone, feet from the bridge, in the water sneaking up on people.  I think I heard him say he got something like 5 kills there but had he not done that, I don't think we could have taken the bridge with enough time to drop the flag.  These players were in position to stop just about any assault we could have mounted no matter how many idiots, uh, I mean super brave TR members I got to run across in to heavy fire.  Good job!

I put as many players as I could into key crossfire positions in order to either force players to yeild or get wet feet. The TGE "bridge defense maneuver" lives on!!!

Now I did end up handing out a few extra spy arm bands at the respawn because i wrongly assumed Cobra needed the extra help, given the fact there was absolutely nothing going on. I fully admit i underestimated hanny's level of sneakiness, luring JOE into boredom before attacking.

To be quite honest i was literally getting pissed that the 2nd part was going so slowly, i was tearing my hair out trying to figure out how to help Cobra and get the game going, I never would of thought hanny and his guys were sitting in the woods pulling pudd.

I told you guys I would force the battle to be my own terms. Besides, the rules for ARC games are all about the "wording". If Chappy says "whoever's flag is flying at the end...", then you can bet that the last 5 mins are all I care about and that's when the action is going to happen. No reason to have my guys blow through their paint/air trying to go toe-to-toe for a mound of dirt with no point value.Wink

Great game all!!
Thanks to ARC for another fun game, TR and Brian for excellant teamwork, who ever recored my end of the first session flash bang and center flag turn on video(at least I was standing and not yelling obsenities),VooDoo, Sly, Joker, Brian and the TR guys who covered mine, RIP 187, Ger and the "guy" in the black tee shirt  backs while we  made it across the "warm"(my ass warm) water while we sat about 15 feet from the devy while slowly picking off guys while being harrassed by Booty ..until the tank was eliminated..
and I have to mentiion ..Hanny you are a sneaky bastard..when you tagged Trump I was watching you walk toward him then he just walked away(which he never does without yelling something) ..I said to the guys standing by me that I swear that guy with the bulge on his back looks familiar..then when you got to Sly I knew it was you and before he said anything I already pulled the trigger once and landed one close to the jewels...priceless! by the way to all who hesitated to go across the water ...it wasnt too bad ..glad it was the end of the day as swamp foot set in immediatly..and to the stubborn few that held the hill next to devy at the end good job..I had to laugh though as I was close enough to hear alot of the converstions that were going on but didnt have enough support close by to go head to head..great game!

That was me, I wish i had actually gotten the flashbang going off, i actually had more of that flag hang but i had to cut it because the video was punctuated with me shouting "What the F*ck was that?!?"

I wanted to thank everyone for the fun time. It was a blast. I came with Brian from TR (I'm a TR founding member myself). This was my first time at BF and the first time paintballing in 3 1/2 years. I had a very bad experience last time I played at a field that I will not mention. This was exactly what I needed to get hooked again. You will definitely be seeing me at one of the upcoming events. Thanks again for the great game!

THe game, format. the battles...........A pure 1st Strike adventure for me.......First I would like to thank Bio for a fantastic time I had with a 15 minute + fire fight I had in the 3rd stage with  4-5 of your team members just east of the down plane in the high grass. I don't think you new you were in a fire fight with a 1st Strike member. I was moving back and forth on the creek line.I did take a hit when I came back from re-spawn, you guys where still there taking shots at some noobs that where frozen up on the hill like little [ you fill in the word]. So I advanced down the road toward the creek into grass and took out what I thought was a Bio member.......... Nope.... A player that I meet earlier that was instramental in Cobra takink the flag in the 2nd set. Sorry Gordon. The 2nd Phase was crazy beginning for Cobra. We where given the oppertunity to put spies into play. Hanny thought we needed players for that role that would not be noticeable as team players. As the Horn sounded TGE only had 3 spies ready. Definitley not enough against such a formiable foe. A player   at that time had a idea ( sorry can't remember the name,  but you where with gordon and Todd). Take my Guillie suite!...... So off I went, 40 minutes later, the back way from heavy  equipment bridge to the green trailer to Marine HQ, into the city without fireing a shot. As I approuched the flak tower, Joe was taking on heavy fire across the road . 2 Joe's guarding the Flak  tower both took hits and what I now Call the BOX  was unguarded. I took my position and set up my defense for Joe to protect th flag. another 30 minutes later another spy showed up. Gordon and the 2 of us did a fantastic job keeeping the flag safe for JOE. All the while in radio contact with TGE and Hanny keeping track of time and keeping Joe busy. As 20 sec where left I went for the flag with gordon and my son Todd covering y back side. What a wonderful thing it was.ClapClapSmile Props to all that played the game .

I did get a bunch of guys from that left side Brian... but I wasn't entirely alone.

After I saw you the first time down in the creek, I crawled up in right by the bridge & found one of our own (a gal wearing the Flectarn vest) laying 10' from the tank in the group of underbrush/trees right above the bridge.  She dropped out of that position back to the creek when I got up there.  Not sure where she went or what she was doing but maybe she was trying to get some of the guys near the back to grow a pair because she returned just a few minutes later & started yelling back towards the plane for guys to start moving up to our position.  We both eliminated a couple more players before I ran out of paint.  Made me chuckle a bit as I walked thru all the players in the back longballing - all that paint would've been way more effective from her position.

So props to the "Flectarn Girl" for holding it down up on the frontline.

Had that same thought for a lot of times on the Cobra side of things as well.

I think I'm going to start calling "longballing" "panzyballing".  Think how crazy fun games would get if everyone on a team was pushing instead of staying back like a girly men hoping to get lucky.
Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the gun.

It is amazing how many more eliminations you can get from 30' instead of 130' - personally I'd rather be up front getting a kd ratio of 30-10 vs. a 3-1 from the back... to each his (or her) own.

Thank you Chappy...I actually closed my eyes when it went off..wasnt expecting that loud of a bang..if you were or are in the future thinking of buying one of them or the grnades..they were worth it to me on that ...and also in the beginning at the trailer ..the JOE guys were yelling about people in the trailer and if anyone had a grenade..which I did(bought one of each)..I ran over and chucked it in the back window..for the guys inside ..How loud was it?? I know I was laughing hard as I ran away ..

I saw that right before it went off. Wasnt too loud, but loud enough to drown out the double trouble strapped to my chest.

To the person I lit up outside the same trailer in game 2. I'm sorry for that. You popped out of the weeds and took out hunter and rest of us all got a couple shots on you.

Alright BA.  I'll just shoot you in the back of the hand from 2 feet next practice and we will see how good it feels for you.  I'll even have TGE do it so you wont know when its coming.

I believe that was April on the Joe side.  She was up front all day.  At one point during the first mission I noticed on my way back to respawn, She was up front.  I yelled at everyone on the way back that "the girl was ahead of them", it didn't help, they still hid, but awesome job by her!
