The war was brutal on the Russian front in 1942. The Wermacht, thanks to Corporal Hitler, weren't focused on any one objective the entire year. Der Fuhrer constantly changed strategic objectives, and the result was his army was stalled at the gates of Leningrad, Moscow and Stalingrad when the snow started flying....and none were ever captured.

This year there will be three specific objectives for the Germans to try to capture, or the Russians to re-take if they are lost. Not a complex battle and there will be a lot of action

You know I now see why all the newer players who come to Battlefront and sign up on the forums are scared to even ask questions regarding the events or paintball in general. They see people like Sparty bashing another forum member for asking a simple question. After seeing that they won't post a question for fear that someone is going to perceive the question as being "retarded" and get bashed for it. It's very easy to be a tough guy behind a computer screen.

Now Sparty you have no room to talk about asking "retarded" questions. I have seen/heard you ask more than your fair share of them. Instead of putting a post up bashing another member why not try to be helpful and direct them to the answer. Maybe you could post a link directing them to the calendar which explains the game?

You do realize players like Bowman and his friend are the ones that generate revenue for Battlefront and with the current state of paintball they can use all the revenue they can get. If new players come here and see you bashing a simple question:

1. They may be afraid to ask questions themselves.
2. They may perceive that as a negative toward the field, since you (Sparty) represent the field.
3. Word of mouth may spread from that new player to maybe his friends resulting in more possible lost revenue, because now instead of playing at Battlefront they will continue to play in their backyard. 

It's like a ripple effect.

About what time does the first game usualy start? Its been so long since Ive been to BF I can't remember
