After a 3 year absence the TET Offensive is coming back to Battlefront Paintball.  This battle should have ended the Vietnam War, but the American press corp in general, and Walter Cronkite in particular convinced Ho Chi Ming that the USA didn't have the will to win. 

Given the utter chaos of the original battle, plan on tons of action!! I wonder if Jane Fonda will show up for this one?

I have tentative confirmation of a Vietnamese tank from crack. Same problem as always I want desperatly to keep the tank situation even.

USMC vs. NVA.
 
Format
 
Format will be a new mix of formatted "Mission Based" scenario and typical ARC "Chaos Format"
Each team will require a leader to organize missions and "Herd Cats". This leader does not have to be a tent general, they can easily be a fighting general.
 
Hannibal as already volunteered to lead the NVA

i would really like to see this game have NO tanks. just my 2 cents. I'd prefer it be more like the original, foot soldier to foot soldier. The last game with tanks was (although no-ones fault) a clusterf*ck since no-one knew we were now to provide our own NERF rounds and the shortage of said rounds once collected tipped the tank battle scales back & forth constantly. Just saying, I could use a break. Let the players decide the game, not the machines.

I will however abide by the ruling.

I'd still like to see no tanks...  Ever!

I hear you on the rockets.  Tanks are costing me a fortune.  In the last 3 games with Tanks, I have lost something like a total of 25 rockets.  Those things aren't cheap!

You guys should attach some fishing line to a spool and to the back of the rocket so you can reel it in after you shoot it. Then it would make it seem like you are firing a TOW missile.lol.  That or we just switch to the jumbo marshmallows for ammo.

That is nuts that you have gone through that many rockets BP.

O dont think that your the only victim of losing rockets B.P.! I lost every one I brought and everyone I bought at that event from as many silent partners that I could find. Somewhere out theres a person or persons with alot of "CRACK-OLDBALLS" rockets?
I think that its actually a crock of sh*t that  "we" as in all the teams that mark them clearly, Dont get them back at the end of the games?  Dont get me wrong, Im kinda totally fine with the common JOE ROCKET LAUNCHER DUDE scarfing up the rockets after weve engaged a tank or 2, (cause thats what a games about) but hey guys, If you didnt bring any, dont leave all loaded down with them?
Cause now its guna take us till early summer to build up a stock of them again, and it would be nice to have some for late fall and late spring team practices and stuff?
 
O and trust me, It does SUCK a ton, just having 1 in the tube and one spare when you see and enemy tank around, ya kinda gotta make them count! Right Hunter? he he he he eh he!
 
It would be great that all the rockets from the end of the game could be turned back to the teams or to the ref's and then the teams will get them n the flip side!

That's really the same place we are coming from, we used to have 100+ rockets, now we are down to about 20. Every game we gave them out people would walk away with them.

Problem solved...  Lets officially go with jumbo marshmallows being legal tank busters!

I have considered the fishing line thing, no joke!  I still might!

In fairness, I did forget to label my rockets from Blitzkrieg, in my opinion I deserved to lose those ones...  If anyone feels like returning random black nerf rockets that are unmarked though, I would be grateful!

TANKS OR NO TANKS FOR THIS GAME? lET ME KNOW , So I can turn the oven down (sort o say) on this other project? Or throw an azz load of coal in the burner! kinda important when some of us only have the every other weekend option to get things squared away ya know? And yes I know that you know B.P.!

I have an slightly different idea on that poll. Lets poll the tank OWNERS, and see what their votes are. That's a much more accurate representation of who's going to be deciding this armor involvement in this game & should allow Chappy to not have to create a poll thread.
