I put a wet paper towel in a Ziploc plus a bandanna/microfiber in one of my pockets.  When I get shot in the lens (which happens too often) the wet towel clears the paint really easily, the other dries it clean.  I've regretted the couple of times I've forgotten to do this, but it's worked flawlessly the dozens of times I have.

You are only partially correct... Actually that pic was from my first game at Battlefront, where I was XO.  At that point in time XO's were recognized by wearing dual armbands at 1st Strike events.  At any rate, I did not learn the "red on right, blue on left" until a game or two later... so you are at least half right!

That video is wonderful.
"Chicken in the coop! Idiot!"

"I said he's on top of Ludie, stupid n00b!"

"Go to Marine one then rally back at the bunker that three games ago was called the hamster cage and push toward the flag where the main objective was at that game last month that you weren't at. Okay? COMMUNICATION WIN!"

I've been playing paintball for about 17 years now. I've played rec, woods, hyperball, airball, xball, tournaments, scenarios, mission games, drunk shirts versus skins, you name it. Through all of it, I've distilled all of my playing advice to this:

Shooting, moving, communicating. You should be doing at least one of these things. If you are not doing one of these things, immediately start doing at least one of these things. Period.

I still have to remind myself of this all the time. It's really hard to shake the tournament mindset where getting eliminated is a huge deal that can turn the tide of a match. In scenario play, getting hit just means a usually short walk and a short wait (if any) to get back in and your team is only down one of maybe 100 or more players, not 1 of 5 like in a tournament. On the flipside, if you make that big move you're daydreaming about, you just might make it happen and have a story to tell for a long time.

Shoot. Move. Talk. Do it.

This is great stuff guys. Thanks I have learned a lot.

My next tip get a hand held chrono. If your doing any custom work on your marker it or have any games in your backyard It keeps you safe. A friend and I went in half's on one.

Also after I get done working on and cleaning my marker I can check it. Then when I get to the field I can chrono it fast, get my zip tie and get the hell out of the way of other players.

You don't want to be the guy taking his marker apart at the chrono table at 9:30 on a big game day.

If you can't afford one and your planning to play a big game stop by the field the weekend befor a game. That way you can get your marker chronoed and get all the bugs worked out befor the big game. Don't spend all your money to sit in the parking lot with a broken marker.
