What does everyone usually get for Toy for Tots?
Do we do age groups or genders?
Maybe a sign up sheet for what age group and gender you'll buy for... that way one age group/gender doesn't get left out or something...

So there isn't really a age group kinda thing going on? just bring in what you believe is good enough?

I don't believe it matters because this is a contribution to a much larger cause.  From the event description:  Come support the United States Marine Corp program that ensures thousands of children have a happy holidays.  The Battlefront contributions will be pooled with contributions from other organizations.  At least that's how I'm reading it.

(not directed to anyone) well, if everyone keeps in mind the spirit of this event, you'll go out and buy a toy that you'd want to unwrap on christmas morning. Don't just go out and buy some dollar store crap just so you can get into the game without paying a fee. And don't get hampered down by the idea that it has to only $15 or $20. Remember why you're showing up to this one, cause it ain't to watch "winter paint" explode in the barrel/chamber every other shot...

OH.... so this T4T will be combinded with other toy programs like it? well then... that'll make shopping a lot easier... I wonder how many Transformer actionfigures will be there? bc i love Transformer and bet a lot of kids do...

On topic:  I like how you put it earlier Han - make it something you'd want to open up on Christmas morning.  Don't go out &  find something for cheap in a $1 bin at Wal-Mart just so you can play for free, that's like stealing from a charity rather than giving to it... pretty low.  Glad you wrote that & I hope everyone follows suit.

I'm actually gonna have to go with Aqua on this one. Nerf has by far gone complete WIN with there complete monopoly of belt-fed, mock violence marketed towards todays kids. If i were 20yrs younger, i'd be in the middle of a nerf war with the nerf mini-gun + 5 extra belts of ammo in hand, and the new nerf swords slung on my back. They got the market on "foam aggression".

Sorry Aqua, but those Nerf swords are amazing - especially the new broadsword.  I love having a 5 year old son, I've got a built-in excuse w/ the wife to spend as much money on Nerf weaponry as I do on paintball.
